About Us

International Union Of Operating Engineers Local 20 represents over 500 stationary, facilities, and maintenance workers across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky

Our Mission

At IUOE Local 20, we strive to represent the interests of our members across various industries. Our commitment to fair wages, safe working conditions, and strong benefits remains unwavering. 

History

Founded in 1896, the IUOE has over 400,000 members in over 130 local unions throughout the United States and Canada. The IUOE represents stationary engineers that work in various sectors at commercial properties, hospitals, hotels, power plants and schools. In recent years, IUOE members in these industries have won significant gains in wages, health benefits, retirement, and training.
